  STARFLOW  Type P3, P4 and P5:

v     Certified ASME Section VIII Division I of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code 

v     Capacities certified by the National Board of Pressure Vessel Inspectors on Liquid, Air, Gas and Steam. 

v     API sizes 1” x 2” to 8” x 10”

v     API orifice sizes .110 to 26.0 sq.in (D – T)

v     Other sizes: 10” x 14” (42 sq. in orifice)  and 12” x 12” x 12” dual outlet (63 sq.in orifice) 

v     Pressures from 5.0 to 6000 psig

v     Starsoft soft seat for premium tightness

v     Optional balanced bellows (Type P4) design isolates the working parts from the service media and balances the valve against the effects of backpressure

v     Capacities are certified by the National Board of Pressure Vessel Inspectors (D, E, F, and G orifice; air, gas, steam, and liquid) 

v     Full Lift

v     Full Nozzle

v     Pressure Limits: 6250 psig

v     Temperature: 750 degF

v     Sizes: ½” x ½” to 1-1/2” x 1-1/2”

v     Orifice areas: .044, .124. .222, .352, and .568 sq. in.      

v     Bellow design available

SERIES 78 Pilot Operated Pressure Relief Valves

Series 78 pilot operated safety relief valve is an autonomous valve. It does not need any auxiliary source of power to operate. The advanced technology has been adopted by the U.S. and French Navies and more recently by petrochemical plants. It is complimentary to the range of spring loaded relief valves and covers a wide range of field applications under severe conditions.

SERIES A7000 Manufactured by Hopkinsons

 These valves can be seen on installations ranging from shell boilers for heating and process steam up to the highest capacity units on electricity generating stations.

v     Flanged (Class 150 to 2500) or Welded inlet
