IGNITION STABILITY INSURED
The TORNADO™ STAYS LIT CERAMIC BURNER TUBE PILOT has been designed and tested by TORNADO™ TECHNOLOGIES INC. to be used in burner tubes of all sizes and ratings. Our design insures that the ignition source remains stable and ready to ignite the main burner in any weather condition. The STAYS LIT PILOT is very fuel efficient, intense, durable and can easily be adapted to fit most fire tubes. Since the pilot Premix Chamber is mounted outside the main fire tube, it is not suffocated by reverse flows or down drafts. Ignition stability is insured by a continuous flow of fresh primary air from outside.
IGNITION OPTIONS COMPATIBLE TO STAYS LIT PILOTS
• Manual Hand Ignited
• Piezo Ignited: The Piezo ignitor option for the # 6 Pilot is
a safe and simple way to ignite your pilot without using an open flame outside of the
arrestor housing. To operate, you simply turn on pilot fuel and push Piezo Spark Generator
for ignition. This system is simple to install and operate. No battery or power required.
• Pilot Monitoring & Relite: This option is a fully automatic
system that monitors the pilot flame. If a pilot outage occurs, the system instantly
re-ignites the pilot; and once the flame is detected, the solar system returns to standby.
(Available in 110V A.C., 12V and 12V solar.)
• Pilot Monitoring, Relite and Shutdown: This option offers all the
Pilot Monitoring & Relite features mentioned above, as well as the shutdown option.
This means that, if a pilot flame is not detected in a preset time span, the system will
send an electrical pulse to signal the valve in the fuel system to shut off fuel supply
for safety. Alarms can be tied into this system. (Also available in 110V A.C.,
12V and 12V
solar.)
