The TORNADO™ TECHNOLOGIES INC. Stays Tight Cable Seal is designed to allow the level gauge cable to spool in and out of the double drum system without leaking vapors. How this is accomplished is the drum section connected to the tank vapor space is a sealed compartment that is divided from the outer drum section by a stainless steel shaft, stainless steel bearings and a Viton seal that seals on the stainless steel shaft. This Viton and Stainless steel contact point is non-corrosive and very durable.
The outer drum cable spools in and out, showing your fluid level on the vertical indication board mounted on the outside of your tank. This cable seal can be purchased as a separate item to be added to existing tanks that have an indication board but no cable seal, or they can be purchased as a package to include an internal float and guide and an outer indication board. TORNADO™ can custom build a complete package to suit your needs as required.
