Benefits Highlights
Teledyne employees may choose from a variety of healthcare and dental benefits under the company benefit program. Employees may design the best healthcare benefits package to suit the needs of the entire family. During the enrollment period, employees may modify their coverage to take advantage of any family changes or needs.

Listed below are some of the dynamic benefits each Teledyne employee may enjoy:

  • Medical Insurance - Choice of four different plans

  • Dental Insurance - Choice of two different plans

  • Employee Life Insurance - Company paid Basic Life Insurance worth one time (x1) base annual earnings; Voluntary Life Insurance is worth up to another five times (x5) base annual earnings

  • Spouse & Child Life Insurance - Life insurance coverage is available for eligible dependents and spouse

  • Personal Accident Insurance - Up to $750,000 in coverage for accidental death and dismemberment for yourself and/or eligible dependents

  • Long Term Disability Insurance - Pays 60% of monthly income for injury or illness of more than six months

  • Health Care Spending Account - Pre-tax account up to $5,000 annually to pay for out of pocket medical and/or dental expenses

  • Dependent Care Spending Account - Pre-tax account up to $5,000 annually to pay for daycare expenses

  • Pension Plan - Company paid pension plan (five year vesting chart)

  • 401(k) Plan - Pre-tax contributions up to 15% of salary; company matches 50% up to $1,000 annually; immediate 100% vesting

  • Stock Purchase Plan - Post-tax contributions up to 15% of salary or $92 a week whichever is less; company matches 25%; no brokerage fees for purchase of Teledyne Technologies Stock; eligibility after one year of employment

  • Paid Holidays - Ten and one half days annually

  • Vacation - Accrue two weeks annually up to the second anniversary; accrue three weeks annually up to the tenth anniversary; and accrue four weeks annually thereafter

  • Sick Leave - Earn ten sick days annually - six sick days go towards a short term bank and four days go towards a long term bank
